How did you get into recruitment? I was recommended to speak to a Director of a Recruitment firm based in London from a previous MD and I got on very well with them and after 4 long interviews, I joined an International Firm and I joined an excellent team where I was recruiting for Finance professionals into International Law Firms.
Favourite thing about working in this industry? Every day is different, I have never been bored since joining the industry. You’re always learning new skills, understanding what other professions do and speaking with lots of different characters!
How would you sum up your career in recruitment so far? Entertaining, Rewarding, A big learning curve, met some great people along the way too and worked for 2 great recruitment firms who really look after their staff very well.
After a hard day’s work, what is the one thing you look forward to doing? Going home to see my family and having a cuppa! (Not sure if I’m allowed two!)
Any hidden talents? Not really… I am quite a good golfer – Not sure that’s really a hidden talent though!
Your desk - clean and tidy or a lover of the paperwork? Clean!
Best thing about being apart of the R13 team? We all bounce ideas of each other. The people within the team all have different qualities and we all follow the same high standards to both clients and candidates.
