How did you get into recruitment? When I was 18 my mum came with me (as she was keen for me to find a job!) and “walked” me into a recruitment agency (I didn’t know then what a recruitment agency did) and came out with a job working for them!

Favourite thing about working in this industry? It's constantly changing, keeps you on your toes!

What would be your advice for someone looking to start a career within recruitment? Be prepared to work hard, take the knocks, enjoy the highs, stay positive at all times!

How do you spend your weekends? Drinking wine, eating good food, watching films and having fun with friends.

Dream job as a child? I wanted to be a WWF Female Wrestler…… (?)

Any hidden talents? I can do a good Tina Turner proud mary impression.

Your desk - clean and tidy or a lover of the paperwork? Total mess, but its my mess!

Best thing about being apart of the R13 team? We are a team, support each other when things don’t go to plan, celebrate when things do.. and we laugh.. a lot!

Motto in life? You make your own luck.

Summer or Winter? Prefer winter, enjoys the cold / rainy weather (as long as I am inside).

In your opinion, what are the 3 most important skills needed to work in recruitment? Strong initiative, resiliency, communication skills

Early bird or night owl? Flexible, but if had to choose would be night owl.

Describe the R13 team in 3 words? Unique, strong characters, hardworking

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? Professionally, our business has grown and we are a big force to be reckoned with in recruitment! Personally, as long as I am happy and that will be me pretty much sorted.
