Rthirteen are currently supporting a fantastic retail focused business who are currently looking to recruit a HR & Payroll Manager to join their successful team. The focus of this role will be operating weekly payroll, dealing with HR matters professionally, recruitment & selection and leading any HR projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of the Senior Management Team and be team player happy to stretch the job role to add variety and influence organisational change. Due diligence, good memory, organised with determination to complete every task correctly is essential.

Duties to include:

  • Overseeing the HR function of the business, carrying out full generalist HR activity.
  • Developing employer brand and culture including employee wellbeing.
  • Oversee all employee relation processes, in line with Company policies.
  • Developing a people strategy including progression and talent mapping to improve overall staff retention.
  • Delivering engagement initiatives across the business.
  • Management of employment recruitment functions, from on-boarding to exit.
  • Developing and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies.
  • Accurately processing monthly payroll.
  • Carrying out general administrative and compliance duties.

You will have/be:

  • Proven experience in a HR/Payroll position.
  • CIPD qualification would be desirable but not essential.
  • Experience delivering people strategy and engagement with a focus on employee wellbeing and retention.
  • Practical experience in managing complex ER cases.
  • The ability to coach, lead and motivate others.
  • An understanding of HR policies, procedures and relevant employment law.
  • People oriented and results driven.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Service oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday. Offered salary is £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience. Benefits include 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension scheme, product staff discount and free car parking on-site.
