Rthirteen are currently supporting a fantastic retail focused business who are currently looking to recruit a Payroll Clerk to join their successful team. The focus of this role will be operating weekly payroll.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a leading Norfolk business. Due diligence, good memory, organised with determination to complete every task correctly is essential.

Duties to include:

  • Process UK monthly payroll in an accurate and timely manner (in accordance with UK legislation).
  • Pension administration.
  • Administer payroll related details on the HR/Payroll system.
  • Process timesheets.
  • Perform reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payrolls.
  • Dealing with Auto-Enrolment pension administration.
  • Handle financial reporting.
  • Engagement with employees and stakeholders and providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Carrying out general administrative and compliance duties.

You will have/be:

  • Proven experience in a Payroll position.
  • People oriented and results driven.
  • Fully competent in use of Office, Word, Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills and be able to explain payroll rules.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and diligent.
  • Good organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • A real team player, you will collaborate with colleagues in the wider business
  • Strong problem-solving skills alongside an analytical mindset.

This is a part-time, permanent opportunity working 2 days per week on average BUT one week of the month you will be require to work 3 days. Offered salary is £10-£13 per hour dependant on experience. Benefits include 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension scheme, product staff discount and free car parking on-site.
