rthirteen are currently assisting a thriving business based in Norwich with their search for a Business Development Manager to join their team. You will be an integral addition to an already successful and driven B2B sales team, and your role will focus on attracting new clients to the organisation through engaging proposals and strong relationship building. You will be able to bring a client portfolio which you can engage immediately, and you will be comfortable working with CSuite Execs of corporate businesses.

There are live clients for whom you would take ownership, as well as to have the opportunity to introduce your contacts to the businesses services / solutions.

If you are a tenacious, enthusiastic, B2B salesperson this would be a fantastic position for you, where you will be able to utilise, your sales skills working with an exciting, international recognised brand with an exceptional product range. This is a hybrid role, with 1 day in the office every couple of weeks.

Your duties will include:

  • Full lifecycle management of the end to end sales process.
  • Researching and recognising potential new clients to target.
  • Establishing and prospecting the key business contacts.
  • Undertaking informed conversations to identify needs and offer solutions.
  • Producing and providing comprehensive proposal/presentations (including in person).
  • Negotiation of client proposals, closing the deal in line with the business requirements.
  • Overseeing of client projects to ensure satisfactory delivery and seek out additional opportunities.
  • Long term account management and relationship building.
  • Creating a strong database portfolio to sell to.
  • Meeting and exceeding individual revenue and gross profit targets.

You will have/be:

  • Demonstrate a successful background in corporate sales, with a minimum of 1 / 2 years’ experience.
  • End to end prospecting and onboarding B2B experience.
  • Highly personable and a strong communicator, using a consultative approach.
  • Target orientated, experienced in meeting and exceeding set objectives.
  • Display a tenacious and proactive approach.
  • PC literate, competent in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Money motivated, keen to earn and driven to succeed.
  • Have the ability to adapt your sales approach to relate to the needs of each customer.

This is a full-time permanent role working 9:00 – 5:30 Monday to Friday, although this role may need flexibility. Remote / hybrid working available. Full tech provided. Mileage expenses. Offered salary of up to £40,000 dependent on experience + uncapped earning potential (anticipated OTE £60k++) and a competitive benefits package.
