An exciting opportunity has become available for someone with strong events experience to join a leading IT Technical Solutions organisation in South Norfolk. Working in collaboration with various internal teams, you will play a key role in the planning and delivery of events across the business, aligning the events strategy with the wider company goals.

Duties to include:

  • Planning, creating, and communicating event marketing plans for all business and industry events.
  • Developing and maintaining working relationships with vender accounts.
  • Supporting with vendor sign up, marketing budgets and event spaces.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure a range of cross-channel marketing activities are being used to promote events.
  • Carrying out and coordinating venue research and technical specifics.
  • Attending events, ensuring smoothing deliver, correct set-up and breakdown.
  • Leading on the planning and delivery of smaller ‘showcase’ style events.
  • Providing copy for marketing assets and designs.
  • Creating post-event reports taking into account performance, feedback, and considerations.

You will have/be:

  • Proven experience in a similar event management and marketing role.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification (marketing qualifications would be advantageous).
  • Experience in advertising, digital & CRM marketing.
  • Financial awareness and understanding of budgets.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Great interpersonal with the ability to develop strong relationships internally/externally.
  • Strong project management skills.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday with a flexible hybrid working opportunity available once the probationary period has been successfully completed.
