Sales Director, Permanent, Central London, up to £50,000 DOE + Commission + Bonus

Are you passionate about sales, goal driven & tenacious? Do you want to use your leadership experience to drive a strong sales department using individual coaching of team members and practice high performance teams? Do you have media experience?

R13 are currently assisting a media business in their search for a Sales Director to lead a new and growing team in London. You will take the lead on managing Profile Sales within the group, ensuring you and your team are hitting key KPI’s, nurturing prospects and driving business growth.

Duties to include:

  • Reporting on sales performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Consulting on KPIs, policies and business plans.
  • Actively managing your own KPIs, lead generation and pipeline through various sources.
  • Ensuring the team are working to and achieving set targets with overall responsibility for sales revenue that is generated.
  • Overseeing sales negotiations for the sales team.
  • Implementing and overseeing sales, marketing and technical assistance.
  • Carrying out market research for project management.
  • Monitoring and overseeing the financial position of the group.
  • Developing innovative sales ideas and ideas to improve underperforming desks.

You will have/be:

  • Proven experience and a track record of success in a sales role, preferably within media.
  • Experience leading and managing a team.
  • Natural communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to develop rapport with and influence others.
  • The ability to work independently as well as coach/manage team.
  • Analytical skills to resolve problems and look for solutions.
  • Ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members.
  • A strong drive and you are self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Enthusiastic and persistent personality with a strong “can-do attitude”.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in central London. Working hours are 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this position is up to £50,000 dependent on experience plus uncapped commission and bonus.
