Rthirteen are currently support a fantastic training and education provider in their search for a Construction Teacher to join them on full-time basis.

The purpose of this role will be the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning over a range of courses and levels. You will take an individualised approach to your students, providing them with the skills, knowledge and qualifications to enable them to take their place in society.

Duties to include:

• Delivering high quality teaching to all leaners.
• Creating engaging teaching resources, materials, schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Planning and preparing learning activities.
• Support learners to achieve their potential, providing additional support where necessary.
• Providing individual learning plans that support any behaviour plans.
• Evaluating learning and assessment.
• Tracking learner progress and providing feedback to both learners and centre staff.
• Dealing with conflict/incidents that arise in line with company policy and individual’s plans.
• Contributing to the development of the vocational curriculum.
• Working with the wider team to manage learner’s behaviour on site.

You will have/be:

• Level 3 qualification in Construction or proven industry specific experience.
• A relevant instructing/coaching qualification and working towards a full teaching qualification (PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PTLLS etc.) or full certified already.
• Previous teaching/instructing experience.
• Experience planning lessons, assessing and providing feedback.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Confident working with learners at all different levels couple with the ability to motivate and inspire.
• Reliable, adaptable, resilient and flexible.
• A desire to continue to develop professionally
• Enthusiasm and commitment to working as a team

This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. The offered salary for this role is £20,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience.
