R13 recruitment are working in affiliation with a leading organisation in their search for a Commercial Sales Executive, specialising in the Insurance market to join their busy product team. The main purpose of your role will be to identify, build and develop a sales pipeline through identifying new revenue opportunities, securing accounts and ongoing renewals. You will be a dynamic and self-motivated, driven and persuasive individual with a passion for Business Development.

Duties to include:

  • Lead generation to identify relevant contacts within the Insurance sector.
  • Proactively contacting new potential customers via telephone and email.
  • Using letters, media packs and emails to support sales initiatives.
  • Attending and contributing to sales meetings.
  • Obtaining written confirmation of all sales and updating the internal systems.
  • Collating proposals and presentation packs for prospective clients.
  • Liaising with the Accounts department to discuss unpaid accounts and invoice queries.
  • Producing commission sheets on a monthly basis.
  • Off site visits as required.
  • Identifying and investigating new developments in the Insurance market.

You will have/be:

  • Experience within a B2B Sales role, ideally from scratch.
  • Good level of knowledge of the Personal Insurance products, branding and product endorsement.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated and determined.
  • Strong administration skills and experience of using a CRM.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • An understanding of the Insurance market would be highly advantageous.
  • A demonstrable and proven track record of lead generation, telesales, hitting and exceeding targets.

This is a full time permanent role working Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. This is a salaried position with a potential OTE in the region of £30,000+.
