R13 recruitment are working in collaboration with an established financial services organisation in their search for an Audit Senior. As an integral part of their highly experienced team, you will be responsible for undertaking Audits on behalf of a range of clients across a variety of different industries. You will be ACA or ACCA qualified or be close to qualifying and have previous audit experience within a practice environment.  

This is fantastic opportunity for someone with audit experience to join an ambitious practice where you will be able to develop your skills and grow within a practice environment.

Duties to include:

  • Managing audit assignments on behalf of clients across a variety of industries.
  • Accounts preparation for all corporate clients.
  • Preparing corporation tax returns and computations.
  • Assisting and guiding junior members of staff with their day to day workload.
  • Checking the accuracy of staff work, identifying and resolving any issues as appropriate.
  • Delivering accurate and timely reports and updates to senior management and partners when requested.
  • Effectively handling all client and HMRC correspondence.

You will have/be:

  • Previous audit experience within a practice environment.
  • ACA or ACCA qualified or be close to qualifying.
  • Accounting experience including accounts preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of Sage, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications and accounting software.
  • Working knowledge of Corporation Tax.
  • Excellent leadership qualities coupled with the ability to support junior members of staff.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to tailor your approach to suit a variety of audiences.
  • Strong customer service skills.
