A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a long-standing, agricultural service and product supplier as an Agricultural Parts Manager. The focus of this role will be leading the Parts Department ensuring customer service standards are met, targets are achieved and the team if effectively managed. You will take an active role in driving revenue through parts sales to ensure overall business success.

This is a great opportunity for someone with proven experience as a parts manager or an experience parts advisor looking to make that next career step. You will ideally have experience within agriculture or a similar industry and be enthusiastic about driving the parts department forward.

Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring the smooth day to day running of the parts department.
  • Providing support and direction to Part’s Advisors/Apprentices in the team, ensuring targets are met and clear expectations are set.
  • Ensuring monthly deliver of set KPIs.
  • Coordinating local events, promotions and sales, as well as, driving seasonal sales or specific products.
  • Managing warranty and return claims, making sure these are process within the required timeframe.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
  • Involvement in the Parts Marketing Plans, as well as, maintain the showroom and creating appealing product displays.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service at all time and working to develop improvements to the customer experience.
  • Continuously working towards the company’s strategic goals.

You will have/be:

  • At least 3 years proven experience in a Parts Manager role or significant experience as Parts Advisor.
  • Experience working within a similar industry.
  • Strong leaderships skills with the ability to mentor, develop, and support staff to achieve their goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and reports.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Flexible approach to working – able to work extended hours and weekends.

This is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week in a highly accessible location. The offered salary for this position is competitive and dependant on experience.
