R13 recruitment are partnering a creative digital agency based in Norwich city centre in their search for an enthusiastic PHP Web Developer. Joining their award-winning team, you will be working on a wide range of web and app design projects for an excellent range of clients both locally and internationally.

You will have a strong working knowledge of object-oriented PHP experience and relational databases, as well as, being a self-motivated learner, eager to make a contribution to the ongoing success of the agency. You will join a highly supportive team that will put trust in you to manage your workload, allowing you to work flexibly.

Duties to include:

• Carrying out both front and back end web development.
• Maintaining high standards for web performance, security and accessibility.
• Providing estimates for new design tasks.
• Using your knowledge to provide comments on coding design aspects.
• Organising tasks to meet strict deadlines.
• Working to SEO best practice.

You will have/be: 

• Proven experience of object-oriented PHP (Laravel, Statmic, SilverStripe plus WordPress).
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB).
• JavaScript, CSS, React experience.
• Working knowledge of Git in a collaborative environment.
• Experience working to SEO best practice.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
• A self-motivated learner who can work with urgency and diligence.

Advantageous but not essential:

• Working knowledge of UNIX-like operating systems.
• Experience with Vue.
• Experience programming in Go.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity working with talented individuals from stylish and creative Norwich City Centre based offices. Offered salary of up to £36,000 dependant on experience. Your working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. . A comprehensive benefits package is offered including flexible working, profit share scheme and lots of team rewards.
