R13 recruitment are supporting a reputable financial services organisation in their search for a Technical Analyst. This is a highly diverse role which focuses both on administrative elements as well as paraplanning elements. You will join the support team working in collaboration with Financial Planners and Administrators to ensure clients receive a high quality and accurate service.

The suitable candidate will be someone who has achieved or is working towards their Diploma in Financial Planning, who has excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of accuracy in all their work. You will be looking for the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a collaborative environment.

Duties to include:

  • Researching and collating quantitative information necessary to produce wealth management and financial planning reports.
  • Working in collaboration with wealth managers to identify solutions that meet clients’ needs and objectives.
  • Undertaking researching in order to find solutions to clients needs.
  • Preparing recommendations to support the client review for analysis by a Financial Planner.
  • Complete tax calculations for withdrawals for capital gains tax, inheritance tax and bond withdrawals.
  • Using cash flow planning tools to create insightful data.
  • Ensuring client records are accurate and up to date.

You will have/be:

  • Working towards or have a Diploma in Financial Planning or Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
  • Certificate in financial Planning is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within the financial planning industry.
  • A broad, technical knowledge of financial services products.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working within a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage own workload.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational & prioritising skills.
  • Positive, energetic, supportive and friendly, overall a good team player.

This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday. This position will be 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home. The offered salary for this position is up to £32,000 dependant on experience. Benefits of this role include life assurance scheme, 10% employer contribution pension, BUPA cash plan and more.
