R13 are working alongside an international service provider in their search for an experienced HR Business Partner. A key member of a small but dynamic team of 3, this newly created role will hold it’s focus in the provision of HR support to the businesses growing team. Initially supporting the Norwich business, longer term, this role would provide provisions to the wider organisation across a further 2 sites UK wide. Your role will provide a full range of support to the organisation, including employee relations, colleague engagement, learning and development, reward and supporting overall business growth.

This opportunity would suit someone with a proven track record in HR and a strong background in dealing with a range of employee relations aspects. This is a varied, hands on role within a small but fast-paced HR team. Not only will you be joining a supportive team, who love to love their job, but this is also a great opportunity to further your professional development as the company can provide support with gaining qualifications and further training.

Duties to include:

  • Supporting the business with a variety of HR tasks including recruitment, onboarding, training, probation reviews, investigations, disciplinary or absence, TUPE etc
  • Providing guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Creating a seamless, customer friendly, approachable HR service for all partners.
  • Involvement in promoting and delivering engagement initiatives.
  • Driving change and business growth through the provision of comprehensive HR services.
  • Working with senior partners to help and advise on HR related tasks and projects.
  • Implementing HR compliance with minimal disruption.
  • Various project based work including implementing mentorship scheme across the business.
  • Assisting with essential HR admin such as contracts, compliance checks etc…

You will have/be:

  • Proven experience working within HR department.
  • CIPD Level 5 would be advantageous but not necessary as training can be provided. 
  • Proven track record of dealing with a variety of employee relations tasks from disciplinary issues to investigation and TUPE etc.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Experience of using Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Confidence in responding to unexpected changes and adopt a flexible approach.
  • Capable in interpreting policies, terms and conditions and analyse situations.
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.

The offered salary of £33,000 - £35,000 dependant on experience. Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
