If this sounds like you, then we are currently collaborating with a dynamic, international organisation in their recruitment for a Digital Product & Service Design Manager.

The focus of this role will be digital product and service development, from initial ideas and brainstorming through to implementation. Working within an Agile environment you will be ensuring all products/services developed meet requirements and relevant guiding principles.  

There is the option within the role for remote working with the flexibility to come into the Norwich office.

Duties to include:

  • Designing, developing and managing digital products and services.
  • Developing commercially viable new products and services that meet requirements.
  • Managing the life cycle of the product from initial idea to implementation.
  • Working to ensure a strong understand of target markets, competitors and the needs of customers.
  • Identifying potential new business relationships and nurturing these.
  • Managing client relationships to ensure understanding of their objectives/needs.
  • Line management of three direct reports who will support research and marketing activity, supporting these in their growth and development.
  • Carrying out SWOT analysis and ensuring up to date market knowledge.
  • Monitoring performance of new products/services.
  • Delivering again agreed financial targets and ensuring products are financially viable.

You will have/be:

  • Previous experience in a similar role focused on digital product & data development.
  • Experience leading design and implementation of strategy.
  • Proven experience working within an Agile environment.
  • A good understanding of web publishing, open data, digital content, applications, content management.
  • Successfully delivered one or more products meeting a number of successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide effective briefs and position product strategy to stakeholders.
  • Good creative eye with attention to detail.
  • A team worker with a ‘hands-on’ approach.
  • Delivery focused, with the ability to work with energy and pace, with a high level of resilience.

This a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this role is highly competitive. This role can be flexible as you can work remotely with the option to come into the Norwich office.
