Are you an experienced Communications professional looking for a new challenge?

An exciting opportunity has become available for someone with a strong communications background to join a leading family-run brand in Norfolk, on a 6-month fixed term contract. The business is currently in the process of launching a new campaign, so you will be joining the business at a key point. Within this role you will act as a guardian for all comms activity ensuring that it is on brand and working to generate brand loyalty through comms.

Duties to include:

  • Leading the team to deliver successful comms campaigns across the business.
  • Developing and delivering engaging email campaigns ensuring these are on brand.
  • Producing engaging internal communications through the intranet, staff e-news and events.
  • Ensuring comms are delivering business objectives and goals.
  • Continually working to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of comms.
  • Working to improve the customer journey, keeping them at the heart of everything you do.
  • Creating innovative ways to improve the business intranet and drive more employee engagement.

You will have/be:

  • Previous experience in a similar communications/media focused role with proven track record of delivering successful comms campaigns to customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Great understanding of language / tone of voice – acting as a guardian to assure all comms are on brand.
  • Demonstratable experience of successful email campaigns.
  • Exposure to development of engaging and informative intranet content.
  • Confidence in leading a small team coupled with the ability to influence and collaborate with others (experience with freelance talent would be beneficial).
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Confident communicating across all levels of the business to generate support.
  • Organised, with the ability to manage a varied workload and to prioritise issues when they arise.

This opportunity is on a 6-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave. It will be starting at the start of August. You will working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is £32,000 - £35,000 dependant on experience and this role also offered a comprehensive benefits package. This is role is currently remote but with planned progression to spend 1/2 days in the office per week.
