initial contact:

Once you’ve made the decision that you’d like to work with rthirteen, the process couldn’t be easier. The first thing we will need from you is a copy of your CV. To send us your CV, simply contact us. Need to write a CV? Refer to CV help.

Upon receipt of your CV, one of the team will be in touch with you within 5 working days. We’d like to talk to you to find out more about the kind of opportunity you are looking for. In doing so, we will create a profile for you and add your details to our database. You can opt in to receive information from us and to sign up for FREE skills training.

 

registration process:

The next step, where a potentially suitable opportunity has come available for you, would be our registration process. At rthirteen recruitment you can expect a registration interview with us, which is thorough, concise and honest.

We will contact you to coordinate either meeting you face to face or via Skype to complete the interview. During the interview, we will talk about your; past employment and experiences; relevant skills; education and qualifications; key strengths and development areas; interview availability; and determine the type of role you are looking for. We always ask you to be completely honest with us. The more information you can give us, the better equipped we will be to understand where you want to head next, and what opportunities will suit you best. This process enables us to tailor your CV for each vacancy we submit your details for.

You may be required to undertake relevant assessments, where we will go through your results and offer additional free training.

Should we then feel that we have one, or more, current opportunities to suit your needs, we will spend time discussing those vacancies with you. Ask questions – we want you to have as much information as possible to be able to make an informed decision as to whether this would be an opportunity you want to pursue. It’s also important to know that if a role we present to you is not what you are looking for, please never feel obliged to progress an application. It must be something you feel has a high possibility of being the RIGHT opportunity for you, long term.

 

what’s next?

If we’re submitting your CV, we will create a specifically tailored version to highlight your skills which match the requirements of that particular vacancy, and submit this through to the recruiting manager. We will give you an indication of timescales for each vacancy, and keep you up to date regarding the progress of your application. If you’re not successful in your application, we will gain feedback from the recruiting manager and provide you with this information to assist in your continued work search efforts.

Now that you’re fully registered you can expect regular contact from the rthirteen team, during your search for employment. Please remember this is a two way process, we like to hear from you too. Keep us informed of any changes in your circumstances, other applications / interviews you have booked, additional skills/qualifications gained, change of contact details or circumstances - communication between us is the key.

 

pre-interview

We’ve sent off your CV to the recruiting manager and they come back to us to arrange an interview for you. We will aim to schedule an interview to suit your availability, then contact you to coordinate.

Once your interview is booked, we offer full support and provide you with the relevant tools you need, empowering you to give the best possible reflection of yourself as a prospective employee. Our guidance includes offering advice about telephone, face to face (formal or informal), competency, panel, board, portfolio and second/third interviews. Upon request, we can construct scenario environments and carry out role plays to make sure you are feeling as confident and well prepared as possible. Getting ready for an interview? post interview

We ask you to give us a call and let us know how your interview has gone. We understand that interviews are a two way process, so we are always keen to understand your thoughts and views having been along to a business to see what it’s all about. We will use your comments to be able to provide feedback to the employer and we will gain the employers feedback and pass onto you. We can help with second interview stages, job offers, and resignation letters.

 

you’ve got a new job!

When we have helped you find your new job, we will keep in touch. We deem our aftercare communication as an important part of the rthirteen 360-service. We can also offer techniques on how to make a good first impression in your new job, how to grow your career, how to get spotted for promotion and how to continue to develop your skills.
